Patrick S. Doe has launched the 3rd annual golf tournament in memory of his mother, Sally Ingoldsby Doe, who passed away February 11, 2006 from the scourge of pancreatic Cancer. Those of you that have been directly touched by this dreaded disease personally, through a family member, friend or any loved one, are well aware of the tragedy and heartbreaking experience it inflicts. This endeavor, that Patrick has initiated, is his way of offering help to those in need. . . while there is still time. This is a very special charitable event this year for the benefit of not only Camp Good Days & Special Times, a twenty-five year old organization that provides a camping experience, and more, for children and adults facing the toughest challenges of life ~ children touched by this dreaded disease they call Cancer, but also for Scott Tickyj, a very dear friend of Patrick's. |
Scott has been paralyzed for the past several months by a rare muscle syndrome called Guillain Barre. Although this is a “golfing event”, for those of you that are not golfers, we are also soliciting donations and inviting all donors to join us at the Clubhouse for our "Dinner Only" special at $25. a plate. For those unable to attend, please consider a donation, large or small. (no donation is too small) in the name of the "Sally Doe Memorial Fund". This tournament is the third annual gathering of this event that will, hopefully, provide fun, joy and happiness for all. Please join us. We hope that we have made it fairly easy to navigate through this website and that you enjoy your visit with us. For those of you that are chomping at the bit to enter the tournament, it's really easy, just <Click Here> to go to our entry form, print it out and mail it in. |
